Dr. Wells-Di Gregorio is a clinical psychologist specializing in psychosocial oncology and palliative medicine. Her clinical and research work focused on translating psychological symptom management interventions for patients living with advanced disease. She provides education and supervision focused on the psychosocial aspects of communication with patients with serious illness.

  • Oversaw content validation of the national Psychosocial Oncology Core Curriculum now being developed into a virtual core curriculum using the ECHO model
  • Created an effective four session psychological symptom management intervention for advanced cancer patients which is being translated to a web-based efficacy trial
  • Produced the James Supportive Care Screening, one of three measures recommended by ASCO, APOS, AAHPM for comprehensive cancer screening
