About
I wanted to become a doctor as far as I can remember myself. Now and then, I always feel satisfaction, when I care for the patient. Since childhood, I could hear a lot about palliative care and its importance for patients, as my parents were actively working for PC development in our country. Of course I could not realize it then, but this information was always there, in my subconscious. Now, when I actively participate in management of oncological patients, I vividly see how important it is to include palliative care from the beginning of their treatment. I wanted to broaden my horizons and learn more about palliative care, so recently I participated in Palliative Fellowship program based on St. Christopher’s OLP, which were the first steps for me in this field. I am eager to learn more. I am sure that the knowledge gained during this course will help me to improve quality of my patients’ lives.
