Dr. Odontuya Davaasuren is particularly interested in strategies for integrating palliative care into existing healthcare system of Mongolia and developing palliative care policy, education, drug availability, advocacy to improve quality of life for Mongolian palliative care patients. She was mother of palliative care in Mongolia. She has established the Mongolian Palliative Care Society, Palliative Care Resource Training Center in Mongolia, published handbooks for doctors, nurses, voluntary care givers, organized Conferences and courses on palliative care, participated in establishing Palliative Care Standard and other legislative acts, spoken widely on multiple palliative care subjects.
