About
Ariella joined ASCO’s International Affairs Department in September 2021. Having focused on Non-Profit Organizations during her undergraduate in International Studies, she learned the importance of community-based change. During her time interning at Operation Smile, an international non-profit focusing on oral reconstructive surgeries, she gained valuable insight into the real-world applications of non-profit medical mission work. Now Ariella works to support ASCO’s international courses, including the ASCO Clinical Research e-Courses (ACReC), the Leadership Development Program (LDP), and the International Development Education Award (IDEA). Ariella hopes to further her education in global health studies and pursue a Masters of Global Health. ASCO has allowed Ariella to combine her personal and professional passions, focusing on global health, and working towards her goals of closing the global resource gap in the medical field.
